Ahmedabad Textile Industry’s Research Association [ATIRA] organized a Training Program on ‘Implementation of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Internal Audit’. The training programme was organised from 11th March to 14th March at ATIRA campus near AMA, Ahmedabad. Dr. Rina Gokani, Director & Chief Scientific Officer and Samir Patel, Senior Manager (QA) attended the training sessions.
Interactive Meeting with the Executive Committee Members of Gujarat Ayurveda Aushadh Manufacturers Association (GAAMA) was held at Accuprec on 9th March, 2019. Ltd., Shri Jayendrabhai Soni from Dacson company, Dr. Hareshbhai Patel from Gayatri Pharma & Shri Manishbhai from Sushrutkrupa Ayurvedic Pharmacy were part of the interaction. GAAMA executive committee members took keen interest in interaction with Dr. Jaimin Vasa, President of GCCI & BoA member of Accuprec. Dr. S.P. Adesara used his experience during FDCA commissioner tenure & gave interesting talk about the regulations.
2nd Annual Meeting of Board of Advisors (BoA) was organised at Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd on 9th March,2019. Dr. Jaimin Vasa, Member of BoA and President of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) was the Chief Guest. Shri Mulubhai Kandoriya, Managing Director of Accuprec welcomed all the Board members. Shri Padmin Buch, Chairman BoA started the proceeding of the meeting. Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director & CEO gave details about the activities of the year 2018-19. Dr. Rina Gokani, Director & CSO presented future roadmap of the CRO. Shri Mayur Kandoriya, Director & CMO gave details about the achievements and Awards received. Education Department, Government of Gujarat has launched IP guideline for academia. As per the IP guideline for academia in Gujarat, a State level Intellectual Property Facilitation Center (IPFC) has been setup under Education Department, Gujarat. Under the guidance of Ms. Anju Sharma, Principal Secretary from Education Department, Government of Gujarat and Ms. Avantika Singh Aulakh, Director, Technical Education & CEO of Gujarat Knowledge Society, First meeting of Intellectual Property Facilitation Center (IPFC) was held at Gandhinagar in which on bahalf of Accuprec Research Labs – Shri Padmin Buch, Chairman of BoA, Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director & CEO and Shri Anil Pandey, Member of BoA actively participated. Dr. Unnat Pandit form Niti Ayog & Shri Hirnanmay Mahanta, Director of GTU Innovation Council among dignitaries present in the meeting.
Annual Health Check up camp was held at Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. Total 72 staff members took the benefit of the camp. Medical Expert Team from Surepath Laboratory guided the Accuprec staff about their health improvement and check up was done of entire staff.
Accuprec staff members observed two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the CRPF jawans who were martyred in a terrorist attack at Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir. Shri Mulubhai Kandoriya, Managing Director of Accuprec Research Labs said in his message that entire nation is grieving along with the bereaved families of the jawans killed in the attack. On behalf of the entire country, I pay my tributes to the martyrs.
FDA team from Ministry of Health, Angola visited Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. and observed the facilities in the Contract Research Organisation. They received the detail about the Pharma Testing, Formulation & Development, Research,Herbal & Pre-clinical Testing Services provided by the CRO. The team was welcomed by Mayur Kandoriya, Director & CMO, while Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director & CEO gave presentation about the progress story of Accuprec. The senior official team was comprising of: 1) Dr. Miguel is Inspector General of Ministry of health and 2) Dr. Fransico is Inspector for food products. Both the guests appreciated the work being done at Acccuprec Research Labs in order to provide state of the art services.
Food and Drug Control Administration (FDCA), Gujarat organised one – Day Inspector Training Program on ‘GLP with special emphasis on Quality Control and Quality Assurance Metrics’ in Technical Collaboration with Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd on 29th January at Hotel Pride Plaza, Ahmedabad. Under the guidance of Dr. H.G. Koshia, Commissioner, FDCA – Gujarat, Team of Experts gave guidance to around 75 Drug Inspectors & Senior Drug Inspectors. Mr. V.R.Shah (I/c Jt. Commissioner, FDCA) & Dr. D.M. Patel, (I/c Jt. Commissioner, FDCA) spoke on the occasion. Renowned IPR Expert & BoA Chairman, Accuprec Shri Padmin Buch, Dr. Manish Rachchh (Director -R & D and CEO, Accuprec), Mr. Chirag Khambhati (ASM, Agilent India Limited), Mr. Zankar Shah (Asst. Manager – QC, Accuprec) & Priyanka Thakkar (Expert consultant for USFDA) gave the training.
In order to brief about the university and discuss about potential collaboration and cooperation, a meeting was planned on 21st January 2019 at Narayani Heights, Ahmedabad under the Chairmanship of Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, IAS, Secretary, Department of Science & Technology & Director General, Gujarat Biotechnology University. Dr. Manish Rachchh, Director (R & D) & CEO of Accuprec Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. was invited for the intraction. Welcome speech was given by Dr. Subhash Soni, Registrar, Gujarat Biotechnology University & Additional Secretary, DST. A Presentation on Gujarat Biotechnology and Collaborative Program with University of Edinburgh was given. Dr. Snehal Bagatharia, Joint Director (R&D), GSBTM. presented the Vote of Thanks. Dr.Shiv Prakash, Managing Director of Synchron Research Services Pvt. Ltd and Dr. Sunil Trivedi, Emirates Professor of GCRI were among the dignitaries present in the event.
